REGULAR MEETING - HALCOTT TOWN BOARD

MEETING opened with Pledge of Allegiance
PRESENT: Supervisor Innes Kasanof; Council members: Alan Reynolds, Walter
Miller, Chris DiBenedetto, Alan White, Town Clerk Stacey Johnson, Highway
Superintendent Russell Bouton. The Public: Harold Brand and George Fay.
No bids received to re-roof South side of Highway Garage.
HIGHWAY SUPERINTENDENT’S REPORT:
a. CHIPS work and expenses involved.
b. Vehicle maintenance updates.
VOUCHER SIGNING: General Abstract #0611—vouchers #83-93 = $1,873.60.
Highway Abstract #0611-vouchers #94-101=$2,287.15. MOTION to pay bills by
Councilman Miller second by Councilman White. Vote: Councilman
Miller-aye, Councilman Reynolds-aye Councilman DiBenedetto-aye, Councilman
White-aye.
SUPERVISOR’S REPORT:
a. Monthly Financial Report distributed and reviewed.
b. Passage of Dog Law. (Public hearing conducted at March 28th
meeting.)-$4 for spayed dog and $7 unspayed and unneutered dog. Motion to
adopt the dog law 1st Councilman White, Second Councilman Reynolds. All
in favor except Councilman Miller is opposed due to fees to the state.
c. Highway Garage had two different people look at it. Delaware
Engineering suggested that we work along with the current highway garage
building for the next five years or so and look into another building.
For now we should re-roof current roof and work towards the possibility
of heat.
Town Clerk’s Report: Bank Interest Paid $0.12. Grange fees $50.00. $50.12
paid to Supervisor. $50.12 total collected and disbursed for the month of
May.
