Meeting of November 4, 2009

Chairman Ballard opened the meeting at 7:00PM with the pledge to the flag.

Chairman Ballard opened the public hearing for the subdivision a of the Crosby estate at 7:05PM. R. Brooks presented the final survey; three acres will be divided off for the Town of Halcott which will be added to the parcel owned by the Town where the highway department is located and 5 acres will be divided off for Chris DiBenedetto. There was a question as to the previous sale of one acre (included in this subdivision) to the Town in 2000 that was not filed. Mr. Brooks explained that since the paperwork was never filed the transaction was not legal and this transaction will correct the problem. The Planning Board then presented a resolution stating that the parcel considered for subdivision be defined as including the one acre previously purchased. A. Johnson made a motion to accept, T. Johnson seconded, unanimously approved. Chairman Ballard closed the public hearing at 7:20 PM. N. Reynolds made a motion to accept the proposed subdivision, seconded by A. Johnson, unanimously approved. Maps will be returned to Chairman Ballard for signature after the owner signs off.

Motion to accept the minutes of the 9/7/09 meeting was made by A. Johnson, seconded by N. Reynolds, unanimously approved.
